OA Institute

A new division of Operation Access, focused on providing technical assistance and sharing best practices to improve access to healthcare throughout the U.S.

 

OA successfully assisted Access OC in starting a similar program in Orange County in 2007. Since then, OA has also been in discussion with many other communities interested in utilizing the Operation Access program model, or developing strategies to integrate medical volunteerism with other approaches to improve access, reduce disparities, and strengthen the healthcare safety net.

Launched in 2007, Access OC is improving the health of vulnerable people by providing access to medical specialists in a high quality, cost-effective manner. Operation Access provided technical assistance to Access OC to develop its program to provide low-income, uninsured people in Orange County, California with donated surgical and specialty care.

 

 

Operation Access has a wealth of experience and core competencies to contribute to the broader community through the OA Institute.
