San Mateo County

Operation Access's San Mateo County Program started in 1998 with agreements with Kaiser Permanente and Sutter-affiliated medical centers. Currently, five medical centers, one physical therapy practice, four provider groups, nine community clinics, and more than 130 medical volunteers participate in our program. Since OA's inception, numerous low-income uninsured Bay Area residents have received surgical and specialty care donated by these medical centers through Operation Access. While the San Mateo Access and Care for Everyone (ACE) Program provides coverage to many uninsured residents of the county, OA continues to support the safety net with its robust network of volunteers and medical centers.
