Volunteer Recognition
Every quarter Operation Access honors a volunteer who is nominated by their colleagues for their outstanding commitment to volunteering with OA. This recognition is awarded by the OA staff on a quarterly basis to a volunteer (medical, administrative, committee member, etc.) recognized by his/her peers for exemplifying service to the community through his/her interactions with Operation Access. Volunteer Celebration
Operation Access acknowledges and thanks its volunteers each year through a Volunteer Celebration event.
Operation Access' 2009 Volunteer Celebration was a very special evening. Nearly 130 medical volunteers, clinicians, hospital staff, and supporters gathered to celebrate. The event focused on Service for the Uninsured and the Keynote Speaker was Jane Garcia of La Clinica de la Raza.
